Learning Objectives at the ASAM 51st Annual Conference

Dr. Sridhar Yaratha has served as an outpatient adult psychiatrist since 2009 at the Gateway Homes in Chesterfield, Virginia. A veteran in his field, Dr. Sridhar Yaratha holds membership with organizations that include the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

Since its founding in 1954, ASAM has represented and advocated for the interests of addiction-medicine physicians, clinicians and professionals. Today, the organization represents more than 6,000 professionals who benefit from an array of educational and research initiatives, in addition to events such as an annual conference.

The ASAM 51st Annual Conference will be held beginning April 2, 2020 at the Gaylord Rockies Conference Hotel in Colorado. In addition to showcasing best practices and innovations in the field of addiction medicine, the event will provide continuing medical education (CME) credits and focus on five specific learning objectives. These include:
